Reflecting on the last six months, it’s been remarkable to see what we have achieved as a team. Not just on the project front, but also seeing so many of you go above and beyond finding innovative solutions, being recognised for your dedication to safety through Tinny Time and celebrating service milestones and promotions. We work alongside a great bunch of people and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together over the next six months.
Above all else, making sure everyone goes home safely at the end of each shift and swing is the thing that matters most. In line with this, you would have seen a message from our Managing Director in light of the recent devastating fatalities we have seen across our industry. In case you missed it in your inbox, you can read it in this edition. Aligned to this, these incidents are a stern reminder that safety is everyone’s responsibility. So please, look after yourself and each other.
Over the last few weeks, we celebrated National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week. It has been great to see everyone get involved in these activities, it's important we engage with these initiatives as part of our Reconciliation Action Plan commitments, but more importantly, because it’s everyone’s responsibility to work towards a more inclusive society. We look forward to sharing a wrap-up of all the activities in an upcoming edition.

Now across to Hanno, who always provides some interesting insight into our operations, delivered with a side of banter.
Over in Gladstone, our team hosted a safety workshop where the leadership team gathered to discuss all things safety, including fatal risks, which were the main talking point during the sessions, along with other agenda items.
On the project front, Luke Healy is in Tom Price gearing up for a shutdown, as well as overseeing site set-up on another Pilbara-based project. Luke Jenke has transitioned out of Iron Bridge to support the Car Dumper 3 project in Port Hedland. It’s still early days on the Car Dumper 3 project, however a very important time with preparation and early works key to the overall success of the project.
Down to Greenbushes, where our E&I team on the MSA project has completed their scope of works and are now in full demobilisation phase. It’s a credit to the team for the successful execution and completion of this project – well done!
Back at home base, in Perth, where key opportunities we have been targeting are getting closer to fruition. We are hoping to enter the next phase of the cycle in the very near-term, where our focus will shift to recruiting more highly competent people to join our team.
Until next time, stay safe.
