Our Monadelphous Worley JV teams’ outstanding work on the completion of the CPF / APF shutdown in Papua New Guinea has received high commendation.
Santos CEO and Managing Director, Kevin Gallagher has personally acknowledged our teams for their efforts in achieving a successful shutdown and safe re-start of production. In particular, he praised all involved for working together through the significant challenges and impacts that COVID brings, demonstrating great teamwork and commitment.
Together, we achieved:
- Excellent safety results, with zero injuries
- Zero leaks on start-up
- Effective COVID Management Plan implementation which resulted in zero cases
- Significant efforts in leading all HSE KPI’s
- Training for over 1,600 personnel
- Rigorous Field Inspection Report (FIR) process, with more than 2200 FIRs completed
- Over 260 Mechanical Completions
- Seamless movement of a significant number of people between two camps and two sites daily
- Successful re-start within two days of planned shutdown timing
Operations Manager Jared Gilchrist said that everyone involved had a part to play and deserved the recognition.
“This was a very important turnaround so to reach successful completion with these results really highlights the fantastic team effort,” Jared said.
