Partnering with 4 Voices: Empowering Women and Communities

1 Minute Read

The Maintenance East team have chosen 4 Voices as their charity partner for fundraising events.

Nick Udy, HSE Manager- Eastern Region, said the partnership was a great match for the team and the organisation.

“This is a match made in charity heaven for our team and Monadelphous,” he said.

“4 Voices support girls and women facing challenges like domestic violence, homelessness, or simply needing a connection.

“Operating in Queensland and New South Wales, their mission aligns perfectly with our commitment to our local communities.”

Jo West, CEO of 4 Voices, said she is over the moon about the partnership.

"We're thrilled that Monadelphous has chosen us as their charity," she said.

Jo started 4 Voices in 2019 to enable girls and women to find the strength to change their circumstances, and not let life just “happen” to them.

“We offer various options to find the support needed, whether it's a friendly chat over coffee, phone access, or technology for individual goals,” she said.

And it's not just about lending an ear, as 4 Voices offers practical support too, from job searches to connecting people with essential services.

Maintenance East will set up donation boxes at reception, giving everyone a chance to support 4 Voices' fantastic work.

To add support to the 4 Voices partnership, the team in the Brisbane office has joined the Containers for Change program.  All proceeds from recycled containers will directly benefit 4 Voices. The Containers for Change program features designated recycling bins placed in the main kitchens on levels five and six.

“So here's to Maintenance East and 4 Voices teaming up to make the world a better place, one conversation at a time. Here's to community, compassion, and creating real change” Nick said.
