Our E&I business continued their run of success with the Fitzroy to Gladstone Pipeline Project team recognised as our March EC Teamwork Baton Award winners.
Taking on Monadelphous’ largest construction project delivered through the Gladstone Branch, the team demonstrated exceptional collaboration, adaptability and commitment. Working outside their comfort zone, they drew on collective EC experience from across QLD and WA and came together to deliver a complex scope with a strong culture of safe, productive teamwork and shared achievement with our client.
From Rockhampton to Gladstone, Brisbane and Perth, the team worked closely and stayed connected throughout. Through open communication, inclusive practices and genuine recognition of each other’s contributions, they built a valued, high‑performing workforce, with office and site teams aligned and working as one.
The team showed a strong commitment to learning and improving, acting quickly on feedback and embedding changes as the project progressed. That same focus carried through to safety. From mobilisation, they set the benchmark, influencing both the client and contractors and lifting safe work practices across the site. It was a valuable learning experience, and one they will carry into future projects.
This project is a strong reflection of what can be achieved when teams work together, support each other and stay focused on doing things the right way.
Thanks to everyone involved in the Fitzroy to Gladstone Pipeline Project. This recognition reflects the effort, teamwork and pride you’ve brought to the job every day.
Please join me in congratulating everyone involved in this well-earned recognition.
