It is an issue that is close to all our hearts, with many of our employees, friends and family calling Queensland and New South Wales home.   The devastating floods has caused extensive damage and forced the closure of our office in Milton, Brisbane.  “It makes me proud to hear stories of many of our employees volunteering to help others in need, from neighbours to strangers,” said Managing Director, Rob Velletri.   “We have had people helping strangers load sandbags, checking in on elderly neighbours to assist with the clean-up, and providing those less fortunate with the basics of portable power and food during this difficult time.”  As part of Monadelphous’ commitment to assist with the clean-up efforts, a donation of $10,000 has been made towards the Queensland State Emergency Services (SES). If you would like to make your own donation to the SES, you can do so by [clicking here](https://www.qfes.qld.gov.au/about-us/frontline-services/state-emergency-service/ses-donations).   Challenging times can place strain on us all. Remember free and confidential support is available to you and your family through our Employee Assistance Program, PeopleSense. This counselling service can be accessed 24/7 by calling 1300 307 912 or by booking online at peoplesense.com.au.  Keep looking out for each other.  ![](https://ecnewsmonadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/The-power-of-community-1.jpg) Image sourced from The Sydney Morning Herald ![](https://ecnewsmonadelphous.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/The-power-of-community-2-1024x768.jpg) The Milton, Brisbane office ## Leave a comment Previous Post Monadelphous mateship core to Tinny Time Next Post Happy 50th birthday to us ## Recommended For You [![](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/hubfs/Senior%20leadership%20changes%20%E2%80%93%20a%20message%20from%20our%20Managing%20Director-1.png)](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/on-the-wire/senior-leadership-changes-a-message-from-our-managing-director-0-0-0) [Leadership Updates](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/on-the-wire/tag/leadership-updates) 3 Min Read ### [Senior leadership changes – a message from our Managing Director](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/on-the-wire/senior-leadership-changes-a-message-from-our-managing-director-0-0-0) At Monadelphous, we are fortunate so many of our people count their experience with Monadelphous in decades ...
