In October, Monadelphous had the honour of attending the 2024 Northern Territory Volunteer of the Year Awards, an evening dedicated to recognising the incredible individuals and organisations making a meaningful difference in the NT community.
Amongst notable key guests, included:
- His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory
- Lia Finocchiaro, Chief Minister of the Northern Territory
- Richard Finch, Inpex General Manager
Katrina Bussenschutt, Senior Administrator, and Nicole Mills, Senior HR/ IR Advisor, had the privilege of judging the awards.
A key sponsor of the event, Inpex, was proud to present the Inpex Emergency Services Volunteer of the Year Award with Richard Finch announcing Valma Eaton as the deserving winner. Valma’s unwavering commitment to emergency services has had a profound impact on her community, making her a true embodiment of volunteer spirit.
Reflecting on the event, Nicole and Kat were inspired by the stories of dedication and selflessness that define so many of the volunteers throughout the Territory.
Congratulations to all the nominees, award winners, and those who go above and beyond to inspire and promote the spirit of volunteerism in the Northern Territory.
