As part of our commitment to support the communities where we operate and our people live and work, some of our oil and gas team attended the Karratha Careers Expo earlier this month. Hosted by Empowering People in Communities Inc. (EPIC), Jobs & Skills Centre North Regional and the Karratha and Districts Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KDCCI), we joined 50 other exhibitors at the Karratha Leisureplex to connect with local students and jobseekers from across the region.

Our team had the opportunity to engage with thousands of eager primary and secondary school students from Karratha, Onslow, Newman and Roebourne exploring training and career options for the future, as well as local job seekers and community who attended to discover local work options, training courses or the chance to learn about an entirely new industry.

The Expo showcased a range of career opportunities for all ages across a range of industries from health care to beauty, mining and construction to emergency services with activations, recruitment advice and interactive activities for job seekers.

The event was a great opportunity to promote our local operations and the range of career pathways we have available.
