Leadership Updates
1 Minute Read

Hi everyone, welcome to the latest edition of The Fix.

We’re fast approaching the halfway point of the year, and there’s plenty happening across our sites.

In March, we launched our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for 2026-2029 on the banks of the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River), our third Stretch RAP and fifth RAP overall. Our RAP reflects over a decade of learning and genuine partnership, beginning with our first RAP in 2013. The launch event started with a smoking ceremony, led by Aunty Robyn Collard, joined by her grandson Tryse Rioli on the didgeridoo. Mirliny, a family-owned Aboriginal business performed a traditional dance for launch attendees. In support of the launch event in Perth, we will also be holding a RAP launch in Karratha next month.

Following on from our launch activities, you’ll be learning more about our RAP and your role in reconciliation in coming months. It was great to see the level of engagement and support.

We’ve also been active in the community, with the team representing Monos at the Newman Youth Festival in April. It was also fantastic to see Senior Project Engineer Elisa return to her former school, Shenton College, to encourage students to consider careers in STEM. Read more about our community support in Tom Price and Port Hedland in this edition.

April also marked a significant milestone for Pedrag Stamenich, who celebrated his 30th anniversary. Joining Monos as our very first Graduate Engineer, Pedrag has contributed to a wide range of projects across the business. Congratulations, Pedrag - well on your way to the half-century milestone!

Until next time, stay safe and look after each other.

Nick
