planning; procurement; engineering; client and stakeholder interface; fabrication management; subcontractor hire; coordination of logistics for materials and personnel; cost control and quality assurance/control – amongst other things!  “I’ve also really enjoyed being able to mentor new graduates as part of my role and help them get started on their career pathways – it is great to be a part of this journey.”  Avery said that outside of his busy role he enjoys being outdoors and keeping active.   “When I’m not working, I take every opportunity to take my dog on hikes and to the beach,” he said.  “Aside from that, I play a bit of basketball and enjoy travelling when I can.” ![Get to know Avery](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/Get%20to%20know%20Avery.png?width=500&height=282&name=Get%20to%20know%20Avery.png) ## Leave a comment Previous Post Engaging local suppliers in Port Hedland Next Post Teamwork prevails at Tom Price ## Recommended For You [![](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/hubfs/The%20Fix%20Feb%20Blog%20images3.jpg)](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-fix/confined-space-rescue-training) [Projects](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-fix/tag/projects) [HSE](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-fix/tag/hse) 1 Min Read ### [Confined space rescue training](https://news.monadelphous.com.au/the-fix/confined-space-rescue-training) Our Port and East Pilbara Operations team recently conducted a simulated confined space rescue in a fuel ...
