It’s not every day you graduate from a trade having made an outstanding impression on the team around you but for Bailey, that’s exactly what he’s done!
Bailey recently completed his Certificate III in Engineering and Fabrication (Heavy). Bailey found his passion for the industry in year 12 when completing his pre-apprenticeship. It was then that he learned he loved a hands-on style of work which naturally led him to his trade.
“I’m so glad I’ve done this. It’s such a good feeling to have completed my trade and progress my career.
During the apprenticeship I’ve made sure I keep a good work-life balance. On the weekends I love to catch up with mates, hit the golf course and head to the beach for a camping trip. Monadelphous gives me the flexibility to progress my career and have a balance”. Said Bailey.
Construction Manager David Harper has overseen Bailey’s development, one that has clearly left a lasting impression.
“I’ve personally been involved with Bailey’s development over approximately two years, on both the West Anglelas Project and now on the Gudai-Darri Project. Bailey has integrated well within his work groups and has been a great part of the team.
Bailey is always keen to learn, to help others out and ask questions when unsure. It’s been a pleasure to watch Baileys development into a respected tradesman within his chosen field” said David.
