Leadership Updates
2 Minute Read

Welcome to this edition of The Pipeline, keeping you up-to-date with all the highlights and important news from across our business.

Once again, I would like to start my update with a message about safety. Since you last heard from me, people have continued to hurt themselves, with an additional four incidents across our business requiring first aid or medical treatment. These incidents could have all been avoided! By being diligent, stopping to be mindful before commencing tasks and adequately risk assessing throughout the task, we can ensure we are conducting work in the safest possible manner. We are all responsible for ensuring ourselves and our teammates return home safe after each shift. I saw this sign on one of our sites recently and wanted to share with you all, as I feel this message really hits the nail on the head!

Safety sign - GM Message

Aligned to this, you would have heard from our Managing Director, with some important messaging around safety following a number of devastating fatalities in the industry. In case you missed it in your inbox, you can read an update on this and our Life Saving Rules in this edition. You’ll also be hearing more from your site leadership team as we launch our Fatal Risk Campaign over coming weeks.

Now, onto the rest of the news across our business, with the end of the financial year delivering to budget expectations, it is important to reflect on the successful year just gone. I would like to thankyou all for your ongoing efforts that have contributed to this success. As a result, we have a pretty solid pipeline of projects, shutdowns, and other opportunities already locked in for the next financial year.

Our team has been out and about celebrating reconciliation and NAIDOC week across our business. You can see below, our team in the south west participated in the annual reconciliation walk in Bunbury, and students from the Oodnadatta Aboriginal School in South Australia painted a container for our team at Olympic Dam.

We look forward to giving you a full wrap-up of our NAIDOC Week activities in our next edition.
