Corrosion Control Services for Water Corporation

Our Mining and Minerals Southern Region business has secured a significant maintenance contract with Water Corporation.   

Monadelphous has been appointed to a panel to provide protective coating and concrete repair services at various Water Corporation sites and locations throughout Western Australia over the next five years.  

General Manager Mining and Minerals Southern Region Paul Francis said that this is a substantial and important contract that is part of continuing to expand and diversify our pipeline of work.   

“We identified this project in late 2020 and it’s fantastic to see the contract now successfully come to fruition, thanks to the dedication of the team involved,” Paul said.  

“Being appointed to the Panel for Corrosion Control Services is well aligned with our capabilities and is a good opportunity for our regional operations across the state with Water Corporation.” 

The scope of work for the protective coatings and concrete repair services includes the following four categories: 

• Category A — Coating of steel/cast iron pipelines and fabricated components/structures   
• Category B — Coating of concrete structures 
• Category C — Repair/refurbishment of concrete structures 
• Category D — Sintakote® coating
