The team managed procurement, processing and fabrication weld.   Nick Jokich, our Works Manager in the south west, explained how the team needed to have a clear action plan to ensure successful delivery.   “The structure, when completed, weighed in at 68,000 kilograms, so careful planning and coordination was essential. We had to ensure we modulated frames to be fabricated and fully welded prior to being assembled as this mass would not be able to be maneuvered around to accommodate welding positions once assembled.”   He went on to explain what a big milestone it was for the team, given the size of the structure.   “This has been the heaviest single lift structure we have ever fabricated in our workshop.
