Giving back to our communities

At Monadelphous, we are passionate about giving back to the communities where we live and work, which is why we are proud to get behind a range of initiatives and activities. Check out some of the ways we have supported our local communities recently and the positive outcomes we have achieved.

Birdbox Project Takes Flight

After Monadelphous contacted Oodnadatta Aboriginal School in remote South Australia to supply them with sports gear, the school suggested some birdboxes instead to assist them with their volunteer work breeding birds to help repopulate Kangaroo Island after the bushfires. In return, they designed and painted a container for us, which now serves as on-site tools and materials storage.

What makes this initiative distinctive is the heartfelt involvement of the school's students and teachers, who designed the artwork that authentically represents the traditions and landscape of their local area.

BCFC Juniors 2025 Football Sponsorship

The Boulder City Football Club Juniors are set to proudly showcase the Monadelphous logo as they take to the field this season. Monadelphous’ contribution supports BCFC Juniors Football 2025 and is an example of our dedication to fostering local sports development and actively engaging with the community.

Sharing the Magic with PCYC

Angie Cullen championed a donation request to provide tickets for the WA Police and Community Youth Centre (PCYC) in Kalgoorlie. The funds facilitate the attendance of disadvantaged children and those with special needs at the much-loved WA Festival of Magic show. More details on the initiative can be found here.

Headspace Kalgoorlie Receives a Boost

It's great to see our teams proactively participating in valuable local initiatives. Kalgoorlie team members Harry, Axell, and Farnush visited Headspace Kalgoorlie to present a donation of both gift cards and cash raised through the Containers for Change recycling program. These donations help support the great work Headspace does for youth mental health and wellbeing.

Collie Christmas Pageant Spreads Festive Cheer

Monadelphous supported the annual Christmas Pageant, run by Collie Cycle Club in 2023, to spread the holiday spirit. Held on December 21, the event featured markets, street entertainment, and the iconic Street Parade, complete with Santa Claus himself. Our donation enabled the inclusion of diggers for the kids to play on at the pageant.
