In a stellar display of commitment and coordination, Melchor has achieved a 100% completion rate for the Leading The Safe Way – Supervisors (LTSW-S) workshop across its supervisor cohort, within a relatively short timeframe.
Every new supervisor joining Monadelphous is required to complete the LTSW-S workshop, a cornerstone initiative designed to empower leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to champion safety on site.
The program plays a vital role in aligning our safety leadership approach, reinforcing clear expectations, and creating a unified standard for managing systems and processes across all operations.
Achieving full compliance in just a few months is an impressive feat, and it didn’t happen without extraordinary effort behind the scenes.
Learning and Development Advisor Gabby D’Uva, ran all five LTSW-S workshops, two in May and three in June, across multiple locations. Gabby said that, with 35 team members trained on-site at Perdaman and another six at the Melchor office, the teams’ dedication to safety was clear, with some workshops even delivered over weekends to ensure every supervisor could participate.
“The Melchor team demonstrated outstanding cooperation to ensure the training ran smoothly. It was a fantastic effort all-round,” Gabby said.
Special thanks also go to HSE Manager Simon Holmes and Senior Recruitment Team Leader Chanel Hansen, whose organisation and support were instrumental in keeping things running smoothly from start to finish.
“This is a great achievement for the Melchor team, driven by their adaptability, can-do spirit, and strong collaboration. A shout out to Gabby who went above and beyond to ensure every supervisor completed the program before the end of the financial year,” Simon said.
Melchor’s 100% result speaks volumes about its culture of valuing safety and accountability.
