The future is bright in South Australia

Monadelphous has been operating in South Australia for over 30 years, making us not only the longest operating contractor in Roxby Downs, but the largest in the region with our team made up of predominantly local people.

Over the past few years, we have had significant growth at Olympic Dam and in regional South Australia, as our EC, M&IS and Rail teams are continuing to grow their presence and expand their capabilities and services to new and existing customers. As a result of this growth, we have more diverse career opportunities in the region than ever.

In early May, representatives from across the business attended the Adelaide Careers and Employment Expo along with 130 other training organisations and employers, making it the largest event of its kind in the state. The Expo showcased a range of career opportunities for all ages with career seminars, recruitment advice, activations and interactive trade activities for job seekers to get a taste of life on site.

Our team had the opportunity to meet over 7,000 eager high school and university students who were exploring training and career options for the future, as well as over 4,000 job seekers and community who attended to discover local work opportunities, training courses or the chance to learn about an entirely new industry.

The event was a great opportunity to promote our local operations and the range of career opportunities we have available. As we continue to increase our productivity and innovation and expand to new and exciting sectors such renewable energies, it is exciting to see our team in South Australia continue to grow.
