There has been plenty to celebrate for our people recently, check out some of the highlights from July. 

10 YEARS OF SERVICE MILESTONE 

Scott Ferguson  

Congratulations to Scott Ferguson on achieving a 10 years of service milestones this month. Thank you for your loyalty to the business!

PROMOTIONS

We have had some internal promotions this month within the Heavy Lift team, please join me in congratulating the following employees on their recent promotions. 

Joseph Wong – Project Manager 

Joe joined Monadelphous in 2018 as a Project Engineer and has been responsible for the overall coordination of project teams to deliver labour, equipment and lift studies for fixed plant maintenance, shutdown and project works under our FMG Crane Services contract and for other clients on FMG sites. Joe has played a significant role in continuing to strengthen our relationship with FMG and has been instrumental in leading the Monadelphous safety culture on site, growing the revenue against budget by an additional $7m over the last 12 months, delivering a strong margin and cash position, implementing the crane operator traineeship and encouraging innovation through initiatives such as the Verton spreader bar, blindsight camera and spreader bar stand.  

Jasmine Browning – Planning & Logistics Coordinator 

Jas started in her current project admin role over 12 months ago based in Port Hedland. Within that time, Jas has proven herself to be a reliable and dependable team member managing all administrative tasks within Port Hedland and has been key to ensuring the depot runs efficiently and effectively. She consistently goes above and beyond to assist the broader Heavy Lift team and has been pivotal in the improvement of systems and process within payroll and general administrative tasks. Jasmine is proactive and is always looking for opportunity to drive efficiencies.  Based on demonstrated capability, willingness to learn and grow and her career aspirations, Jasmine joins the planning team in the role of Planning and Logistics Coordinator.  Jasmine will continue to assist the administration team as part of an ongoing handover process whilst the administration team recruit and train another project administrator.   

Jet Loh – Management Accountant 

Jet joined Monadelphous 10 months ago as a project admin with a career path targeting a role within the finance/commercial function. Jet has recently completed his studies as a Chartered Accountant, and over the last 10 months Jet has excelled in the project admin function and has been a valuable team member for both the immediate administration team, and the wider Heavy Lift team. When given the opportunity to move into a management accountant role, Jet did not hesitate to put his hand up for the role. We look forward to having Jet applying his studies to his new role and look forward to the level of financial/analytical support Jet will provide the business unit.

BIRTHS 

On Sunday, 3 July 2022 Heavy Lift Mobilisation Coordinator, Ayla Cilento, gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy. Patrick James was born at 4:10pm, weighing a healthy 9.4 pounds (4.26kg) and being 55cm in length. Mum and bub are both doing well.

We had a running competition to see who could guess the date, time and weight. Lorna was the closest with date and time and Shawna nearly had the weight spot on!
