Leadership Updates
2 Minute Read

Hi everyone

Another busy time for Energy, with the recent announcement of the Shell Crux hook-up and commissioning work in partnership with Technip Energies, adding to our existing ambitious pipeline of work with INPEX, Woodside and our existing Shell Prelude work scopes.

A few weeks ago, we reached peak mobilisation for Phase 2b – this follows the successful transport and installation of the Booster Compression Module earlier this year.

There’s a lot to celebrate in Energy – we had three finalists in the Women in Resources Northern Territory Awards, with one of our Mechanical Fitters, Hailee Espie-Baker taking out the ‘Outstanding Tradeswoman, Operator or Technician’ category. Hailee began her apprenticeship in 2021, and over the last four years, continued to push herself to grow personally and professionally. Congratulations to Hailee and to our other finalists.

Earlier in the year, at the NOPSEMA HSR Forum, we received 10 nominations for the awards, which celebrate advocacy, leadership, and continuous improvement in health and safety in the offshore industry. In June, INPEX held their contractor HSE Forum in Darwin with our very own Jonathan McCluskey being awarded INPEX’s HSER of the Year, recognising his commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of HSE and playing a key role in promoting the health and wellbeing of everyone on board the platform.

It’s fantastic to see so many of our people being recognised for their commitment to safety, one of Monadelphous’ core values and a priority across all contracts. We’re committed to ensuring that everyone returns home safe, healthy and well every day. Let’s continue to stay focused on safety as activity continues to ramp up across our operations.

I recently visited the INPEX CPF, where it was great to see our dedicated teams working on the recently installed compression module as well as maintaining the facility to such a high standard. Thank you to all of the crew members who guided me through their work areas and activities. It was fantastic to get offshore, and I look forward to visiting more of our offshore and onshore work fronts over the coming months.

We celebrated NAIDOC Week last week across our operations, including a morning tea at our Vic Park office and firing up the BBQ in Darwin for the NAIDOC Week breakfast alongside INPEX.

Finally, some of you may have noticed a few changes to the way you submit a Monos’ Moments. We’ve updated the portal to include nominations for quality recognition. In addition to recognising Monadelphous’ core values (Safety and wellbeing, Integrity, Achievement, Teamwork and Loyalty), our Monos’ Moments also celebrates our people’s commitment to quality. It only takes a few minutes of your time to nominate a team or individual and see them recognised for their actions – no matter how big or small, every bit counts. Your Monos’ Moments submissions can be made via this link.

Until next time, stay safe and look out for each other.

John.
