Leadership Updates
1 Minute Read

As we reach the end of what has been a huge year in our Oil and Gas business, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your contribution and hard work in 2022.

Looking back over the past 12 months, there have been a number of highlights to reflect on.

We have continued to grow, with our workforce increasing by 30%. It is great to see that we have a significant number of long-term employees, with more than 387 team members having been with us for over five years and 89 who have been with us for more than 10 years.

We have continued to work on improving our safety performance and reduce our Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR), bringing this to 2.95 in November. Our Darwin Workshop has achieved an impressive eight years recordable free, while our team in Gove have reached 800 days, Shell Prelude reached 400 days and INPEX CPF has reached 1,000 days. These are all fantastic results to see.

2022 was also a year of shutdowns and turnarounds and we have delivered successfully and safely for our customers, building on our long-term relationships. In particular, we had an outstanding performance on the Inpex shutdown – well done to everyone involved.

We also commenced work on our first decommissioning project on Northern Endeavour, an important step into this new market. This has been a great start to date, with our highly capable and dedicated team on board receiving positive customer feedback.

More broadly, we continue to achieve organic growth on all projects and expand within the area of Fabric Maintenance. I look forward to continuing this growth over the coming year.

To wrap up the year, our Fabric Maintenance Team on Pluto have been awarded the Maintenance & Industrial Services Teamwork Baton, well deserved recognition for their excellent work as a team to deliver on a significant scope of work for the customer.

On a final note, please take a few minutes to read about our new Respect@Monadelphous framework. Ensuring that everyone feels safe, included and respected when working at Monadelphous is up to all of us and is fundamental to our safety and wellbeing culture. I will bring you more information and updates about Respect@Monadelphous in the new year.

Please take care of yourselves and others over the summer months and festive season ahead, which can be an extra busy period. Whether you are out at social events, working in the heat or a combination of both, please remember to stay safe and look out for one another.
