Whilst this work scope presented a significant challenge, everyone focused on delivering a quality outcome while minimising the associated risks.  After a thorough planning process over the past year, the team completed the hull repairs on the FPSO transom hull at water level. A HAZID was completed to review the use of a breathing air compressor whilst abrasive blasting, and a high-level risk assessment was undertaken for abrasive blasting on ropes over water.
