Hi everyone
Welcome to the first edition of The Fix for 2026.
I hope those who took some time off were able to rest and recharge. For anyone who worked through the Christmas and New Years period, thank you for your commitment and dedication.
We’re only a couple of months into the year and it’s already shaping up to be a busy one.
We kicked off 2026 on a high – our business was awarded a major long-term maintenance services contract with one of our key customers, Rio Tinto. This work, alongside our other important contract awards and extensions form a healthy pipeline of work for 2026 and beyond. These wins reflect the confidence our customers have in our people and our ability to deliver what we promise.
Disappointingly, safety continues to be an issue, and the year hasn't gotten off to a great start. As work continues to be busy, staying switched on, taking the time to plan properly and genuinely looking out for our mates will remain critical. Let’s focus on improving our standard of safety and doing things the right way – no shortcuts, no compromises.
Across our sites, we have started to roll out a combined Code of Conduct and Acceptable Workplace Behaviour training. This annual training promotes our unapologetically high standards for respectful behaviour, safety, integrity, and speaking up when something is not right. It reinforces doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, and builds trust within our teams, with customers and with community. It’s our daily actions and attitude that shape our culture and drive our success as a company.
Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the hard work, dedication and commitment of our people. Our people are integral to our success, and we’ve got a solid team here to make 2026 another successful year.
Until next time, stay safe and look after your mates.
Nick
