A message from Christer Hansen, Feb '23

Welcome to the start of a new year at Monadelphous.

Coming off the back of celebrating our first 50 years, energy is high as we look forward at new opportunities, exciting projects and maintenance work. In 2023, we will look to expand and grow our footprint across new and existing markets, diversifying opportunities while maintaining a strong presence in our key sectors.

In January, it was with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to a longstanding friend and Monadelphous family member, former Chairman John Rubino. Saddened by his passing, our workforce paid tribute to John and his legacy, giving him a final send off with the consequence and gravity he deserved. John made a significant impact on so many, both inside and outside the organisation. He will be greatly missed.

As always, our people remain at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to take on new challenges and grow as a company, the ways we work together as one team will become increasingly significant. And as we welcome new people into the fold, delivering on what we promise – to ourselves, our colleagues and our customers – is what will stand us apart from the crowd.

With that in mind, welcome back for another exciting year! I look forward to sharing more on future prospects with you all in the coming months.
