After a challenging year on the safety front, RTW set out to turn things around, and the results speak for themselves.
Last financial year, RTW achieved an impressive milestone, completing 115,091 hours with no Recordable Injuries.
This is a huge improvement on the previous year, when the team recorded three Recordable Injuries, a 100% reduction in injuries and a major boost to safety performance.
To celebrate, RTW held a morning tea and presented cooler bags to all personnel who were available on the day, recognising and thanking them for their commitment to keeping the workplace safe.
“It’s a massive effort from the whole team,” Nick Jokich, RTW Works Manager, said.
“Everyone’s dedication to following procedures and looking out for each other has made this possible.”
“Safety isn’t just about the numbers. It’s about making sure everyone gets home safe every day, and I couldn’t be prouder of what the team has achieved.”
The celebrations highlighted how working together and prioritising safety can make a real difference, and the cooler bags were a small token to say thank you for everyone’s hard work.
But the team isn’t resting on their laurels. With a new standard now set, RTW is focused on building on this success and keeping safety at the forefront of its mind for years to come.
