Meet Russell McBain

Russell McBain recently joined Monadelphous as Engineering Construction Projects General Manager. He has responsibility for BHP WA Iron Ore and Western Region Minerals and Metals projects, our fabrication business Inteforge, as well as Design and Construct (D&C) opportunities, including support of our Mondium joint venture. 

A qualified Mechanical Engineer, Russell is an experienced General Manager with extensive knowledge in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and construction projects from an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) and constructor’s perspective.  

With a 20+ year career working internationally and in Australia, he has managed large and complex projects across multiple sectors including resources, energy and infrastructure. He has held leadership roles in organisations such as Goodline, Aurecon, Thyssenkrupp and Siemens.
