Karting to victory

Monadelphous is thrilled to continue giving back to the communities that mean so much to us.  

For the past two years, we've proudly supported the Mackay and Rockhampton Kart Clubs, witnessing their incredible journey of growth and success in the region. 

Our partnership with these clubs led to the creation of the Monadelphous Intercity Challenge—now in its second year.  

This year’s series brought fierce competition and an impressive turnout, with racers battling it out across Rockhampton and Mackay.  

To claim one of the coveted Monadelphous Intercity Trophies, competitors had to prove their skills in both cities, making this challenge one of the most prestigious events on the karting calendar.  

Peter Clarke, the Club President, mentioned that the event has rapidly grown in popularity.  

“This event, which aims to promote karting in Central Queensland, has quickly become a highlight on the calendars of both cities,” said Peter. 

“The series continues to gain momentum and establish itself as a premier event in the region, and we’re so grateful for Monadelphous’ invaluable support.”
