TORQUE IT UP EPISODE 8 – RUN MBC

We recently took Torque it Up on the road again, this time to Morwell, Victoria to catch up with the team at BMC.

To give you the opportunity to get to know the team, I had a chat with Brett Ryan, Branch Manager, Chris Monteleone, Mechanical and Civil Manager and Eric Barclay, Electrical Manager. In this episode, we talk about the history of BMC, the early days of transitioning into the Monadelphous family, and some of the unique nuances of the Victorian market.

Joining Monadelphous in 2023, BMC’s specialist high-voltage (HV) and instrumentation installation, calibration and maintenance services, have enhanced our electrical services capability, and strengthened our position in the east coast-based energy generation, transmission and storage market.

Since 2023, we have further grown our capabilities, with the acquisitions of High Energy Service (HES), a WA-based HV electrical maintenance and testing, projects and commissioning provider, as well as Australian Power Industry Partners (APIP), a Queensland-based specialist provider of end-to-end HV solutions.

Together, these businesses are part of Monadelphous’ broader strategy to expand our services and ensure we are well-positioned for the exciting long-term prospects that Australia’s energy transition is bringing.
