Our Chinchilla and Morwell operations formed a united front to deliver to our customer, recently completing compressor station upgrade works at Jemena’s Eastern Gas Pipeline (EGP) reversal and expansion project.
Jemena’s EGP is a key natural gas supply artery between gas fields in Gippsland, Victoria and major gas markets in NSW and the ACT. Once complete, the reversal flow of gas will provide further gas supply back to Victoria.
Monadelphous, through our BMC and iPipe brands, was awarded the SMPE&I construction scope of services, which includes the construction, fabrication, installation, inspection and testing across three sites.
“This project was challenging as there were multiple entities involved on both sides – communication was key,” Emma Baptist, Operations Manager said.
“We made a conscious decision to position ourselves as one delivery team which we believe gave us a competitive edge during the tender process.”
From the outset, Monadelphous provided a singular point of contact, BMC’s Branch Manager, Brett Ryan, to manage and streamline communication, and this united front ensured the team was able to efficiently and proactively address challenges while maintaining a high standard of delivery.
Effective teamwork within the Monadelphous business, as well as the collaborative relationship with the customer, was integral to the success of the project.
The completion of this project, along with the positive customer feedback, demonstrates our value proposition to our customers, we rise to the challenge and deliver – the right way.
