Our Heavy Lift fleet continues to grow, with the recent addition of three new cranes that further strengthen our lifting capability across major projects.
The first is a 150 tonne Sany lattice boom crawler crane. Featuring a 76-metre main boom and 31-metre fixed fly, this crane is set to deliver strong reach and versatility across a range of heavy lift applications. Arriving in Australia in February, our new crane has already been commissioned, transported and assembled on site, marking a strong start to its operational life.
Another addition to the fleet is a 250-tonne telescopic crawler crane, also manufactured by Sany. With a 75.4-metre telescopic boom, a 43‑metre fixed jib, and offset options ranging from zero to 30 degrees, this crane adds flexibility and efficiency for complex lifts where speed of setup and adaptability are critical.
The addition of a new 300-tonne hydraulic crane, manufactured by Liebherr rounds out the latest acquisitions. This crane boasts an impressive 78 metre hydraulic boom and a 21-metre swing-away fly adding significant reach and versatility for more challenging lifts. Purchased earlier this year, the crane has already been put to work with a number of jobs already completed for our customers.
Daniel Ooi, General Manager, EC Heavy Lift & Support Services said he is excited to see these new cranes enter the fleet.
“The addition of the telecrawler in particular significantly expands the range of lifting capabilities we can offer our clients, giving our Heavy Lift team greater flexibility to deliver complex scopes safely and efficiently,” Daniel said.
“Together, these new additions expand our lifting capacity, improve site flexibility and support safer, more efficient lift planning.
“Most importantly, they reinforce our ongoing investment in the Heavy Lift business and in the teams who rely on this equipment to deliver for our customers every day.”
