Leadership Updates
2 Minute Read

Welcome to the first edition of On the Wire for 2026. I hope you all had a good break and have returned refreshed for what is shaping up to be another strong year across our business. Thank you again for your focus during our HSE Summer campaign, Finishing Strong, Starting Stronger. Your vigilance over the holiday period helped us close out last year safely and set the right foundation as we start 2026.

I’m pleased to share that several members of our Jansz‑Io Project team have recently been recognised by our client, Chevron. This recognition reflects the high standard of safety, problem‑solving and accountability our people bring to site every day. Congratulations to Dominic Lomax and Adam Black on their Gold Coin Awards, and to Ryan Ballantine and Ben Chan on their Safety & Quality Leadership Awards – all very well-deserved achievements!

A big thanks to Iain Hannant, our E&I Operations Manager, for stepping up to present at our recent EC Town Hall. His update on the Fitzroy to Gladstone Pipeline was well delivered and highlighted the way the team has really rolled up their sleeves to deliver works on schedule. Our client is very happy with the progress, and it’s a testament to the commitment and capability of the team on the ground.

We were also pleased to welcome Nathan and Anita Roach and the APIP team into our business and recently hosted them in Perth to meet more of the Monos’ team and gain a deeper understanding of our operations. Their expertise strengthens our capability in the power transmission and distribution sector and supports the strategic direction we’ve set for the years ahead.

Tendering activity remains very high, with several major submissions underway and others now shortlisted. Thank you to everyone involved for the sustained effort and quality of work that goes into these bids. This activity is critical in securing a strong pipeline moving forward.

Across our projects, work continues at pace. The Chevron Jansz‑Io Compression Project is moving heavily into pre‑commissioning, with construction activities nearing completion and key milestones approaching. Our work at North Star Junction BESS has also continued strongly. Being involved in Fortescue’s first large‑scale battery installation is a significant achievement for Monadelphous - broadening the type of work we can deliver, opening up new opportunities in large‑scale renewable infrastructure and reinforcing the trust our customer places in us. It also positions us well as the Pilbara’s energy landscape continues to evolve, and our next BESS project at Eliwana is already progressing. The experience gained at NSJ has put us in a strong position for what’s ahead, and the project is something the entire team can genuinely be proud of. A huge thank‑you to everyone involved.

We continue to work closely with our customer on the Parker Point Stockyard Sustaining Project, finding new ways to improve efficiencies and successfully integrate solutions into the works. This collaborative approach is delivering better outcomes and strengthening our partnership.

I’d like to highlight that our updated Code of Conduct, which sets clear expectations for how we work together and uphold our values, has recently been released. I encourage everyone to take the time to read it and reflect on what it means for you and your team.

Thank you for the energy, professionalism and teamwork you continue to bring. The work we’ve delivered so far gives us a solid footing for the second half of the year, and I’m looking forward to what we will achieve together.

Damien
