Earlier this month the M&IS Teamwork Baton was presented to our Karratha Onshore team for their consistent outstanding delivery of major turnarounds at Karratha Gas Plant (KGP) and Pluto by M&IS Executive General Manager Alastair Reid.
Since the Maintenance Services Contract began in 2012, the team has displayed excellent teamwork and a solid safety performance to successfully execute 15 significant onshore turnarounds.
Each major event requires more than 300 Monadelphous employees to work collaboratively to stay on schedule and deliver quality outcomes for our customer.
It is estimated that over 5000 employees have contributed to the overall success in Karratha over more than a decade. An impressive rate of more than 60% of employees returning to participate in our major events is a clear indication of the exceptional team culture and environment that has been fostered on-site.
The team has tackled a diverse scope of work over the years, completing multiple larger and complex turnaround events in some years and on major hazardous facilities which creates a high safety risk environment. They have worked on all major equipment at both KGP and Pluto facilities, ranging from full Train Turnaround activity to Auxiliary and Jetty works.
Pleasingly, their efforts and progress have earned extremely positive feedback from our customer, helping to strengthen this important customer relationship.
Congratulations to the entire Karratha Onshore team for, not only your impressive performance and display of teamwork, but also the important role you play in helping deliver essential scopes of work at KGP and Pluto.
