On track in the Eastern Region

This year marks a big change for the rail team, who joined the Eastern Region, adding their expertise and improving the service offering to our customers.  

An integral part of Monadelphous since 2019, the rail team have a great culture and established reputation forefficiency and high-quality service delivery. They deliver a number of specialist rail services to clients across the business, from re-sleepering to assisting with derailments.  

The team now operates out of our Newcastle facility, recently relocating from Rutherford in New South Wales where they have been located since 2020. This involved merging with the NSW rail team in a shift that has seen the entire organisation benefit.  

Area Manager M&IS East, Jake Ayliffe, said the team were a valuable addition to the Eastern Region business.  

“The NSW operations team has welcomed the rail team to the family here,” he said.  

“This high performing team has an excellent culture and are well regarded amongst their customers, setting the bar high for both safety and performance in the field.  

“We have already seen an improvement to the level of services we have been able to deliver to our existing customers and local support we can provide to the rail team and customers.”
