Over the last few months there have been a number of Tinny Time nominations across the division with the Western Turner Syncline 2 WTS2) Project proving to be very successful.
Most recently the WTS2 Project celebrated August Tinny Time winner Raewyn Bishop who found out this month she had won, making her the fifth consecutive winner of Tinny Time from the WTS2 project.
Project Manager Paige Griffiths for WTS2 said “It’s a fantastic outcome to see the team on site recognsied five months in a row, especially for a project that was only six months long.”
“I’m thrilled for Raewyn and it’s great to see the team recognise their mates on site,” she said.
Raewyn was nominated twice during August for her enthusiasm to help out. Raewyn is often noted to be proactive with finding work to help out. Her positive attitude and desire to go above and beyond was most recently recognised when she sourced a step for Matty to sit on while he was firewatching hot works. Thanks for helping out, Raewyn!
There has been a great display of Tinny Time moments since the program was implemented across Engineering Construction (EC).
Every day Tinny Time moments happen, where we look out for our mates and include things such as:
- Helping out – giving a hand to a work mate
- Checking in – asking a work mate are you OK?
- Speaking up – raising a concern with a teammate
- Owning it – receiving and acknowledging feedback in a positive way
The divisional award includes a $200 gift card, a Tinny Time backpack, and a certificate.
Celebrate your mates and nominate who you believe should be recognised for their contribution by advising your supervisor during shift debrief, or during re-focus sessions.
