Leadership Updates

Welcome to another edition of The Pipeline!

March has not only been a busy time but also a big month for diversity and inclusion. International Women’s Day and Harmony Week remind us of the importance of creating and supporting inclusive workplaces and communities. These events are great opportunities to reflect on our progress and, more importantly, take meaningful action towards equality.

In Kalgoorlie, our team recently wrapped up a significant upgrade project in Laverton, successfully improving the site’s gravity circuit. The team tackled a tricky scope of work to upgrade the feed arrangement, boosting the circuit’s throughput, reliability, and availability. A great effort all around, delivering a solid outcome for our customer.

Mick Humphries’ story is a great reminder of how one opportunity can shape an entire career. Over eight years ago, a single phone call set him on a path that led to building a high-performing team and a strong partnership with our customers in Boddington. It’s always great to see how saying yes to new challenges can lead to long-term success.

Seeing our Bunbury Community Grants Program in action is always rewarding, and the latest recipient, Bunbury Athletics Club, is an excellent example of its impact. With a $1,500 contribution from Monadelphous and an additional $300 from a generous club member, the club has been able to purchase new javelin and hammer throw trolleys, making equipment transport safer and easier for local athletes.

Celebrating partnerships is just as important. When our trusted supplier, Autopro in Roxby Downs, marked its 20th anniversary, we made sure to be there to celebrate. Our team relies on their expertise and equipment to keep things running smoothly, and it was great to recognise this milestone together.

Staying in Roxby, the Pink Stumps fundraiser at Roxby Downs was a fantastic night out for the community, filled with plenty of banter, some great runs, and maybe some creative fielding. As part of our sponsorship, Michael King, Simon Fawkes, Thomas Carling, and Jamie Miteff were among the familiar faces who turned up. And, of course, local cricket legend Randal ‘Rags’ Wyatt stepped up to the crease, too.

We also had a strong presence at the Coolgardie Community & Employment Expo, where our Kalgoorlie team connected with job seekers, students, and skilled workers. With roughly 100 attendees, it was a great opportunity to showcase career pathways and support the local workforce.

As always, thank you for your dedication to delivering for our customers and supporting the communities we work in.

Let’s keep up the momentum, stay safe, and continue looking out for each other.

Cheers,
Paul
