Rolling in the support

Bunbury Athletics Club is taking a step forward in upgrading its equipment, thanks to support from Monadelphous' Bunbury Community Grants Program. 

With a $1,500 contribution from Monadelphous—and an anonymous club member generously chipping in $300 towards freight—the club has been able to purchase a brand-new javelin trolley and hammer throw trolley.  

These new trolleys replace the club’s makeshift furniture trolleys, which had been in service for 12 years. Not only were the old trolleys ergonomically challenging, but they also put the throwing implements at risk of falling off and being damaged.  

Bunbury Athletics Club welcomes members from ages 12 to 80+, many of whom help set up for competitions. The new trolleys will make moving equipment around the arena safer and easier for everyone. 

It’s fantastic to see another example of the impact the Bunbury Community Grants Program is having. We’ve long been part of the community and love seeing it thrive.
