Leadership Updates
2 Minute Read

What a strong start to the year it’s been! Our teams across the business continue to demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to delivering for our customers. As we move into March, I’d like to share some updates from our major projects, acknowledge the hard work happening behind the scenes, and welcome the next generation of emerging talent into our business.

Since my last update, we have been successfully awarded a major contract with Rio Tinto for the Brockman Syncline project. Our fully integrated project team mobilised in December to commence the concrete, SMP and E&I works, with works now well underway on-site. Collaboration across the integrated team has been exceptional, and I have full confidence in the group’s capability to rise to the challenge and deliver the right way.

Over at Pluto Train 1, work is progressing well as we prepare for the upcoming May shutdown. This will be a significant milestone for the project, and it’s great to see the disciplined planning and collaboration already taking place.

The Prominent Hill team is now approaching the final stretch, with demobilisation expected to occur within the next month. It has been a long and challenging scope, and I want to acknowledge the sustained efforts of everyone involved as we bring this project to a close.

Our Tendering team remains determined and incredibly busy as they work to secure our next major opportunities. Their persistence and commitment are essential to our growth, and I’d like to thank them for the momentum they continue to build.

We recently wrapped up our Summer Vacation Program, which saw students gaining hands‑on experience across CD3, CD4, BS1 and Pluto. They each spent time on site contributing to real project activities and building valuable first‑hand understanding of how our teams operate.

In February, we also welcomed our 2026 Graduate cohort, with graduates joining mechanical engineering roles across BS1, CD4 and our ECIs. It’s great to see new talent coming into the business, and I look forward to watching them grow over the months ahead.

I’d like to take a moment to recognise the strong safety leadership demonstrated across our projects. Congratulations to our Tinny Time winners from 2026 so far. These nominations highlight the positive safety moments happening every day and recognise those who consistently demonstrate safe behaviours. It’s been inspiring to see teams from different sites taking the time to acknowledge one another – a reminder that our safety culture is strongest when we actively look out for each other.

As we move further into the year, I want to thank everyone for the commitment, teamwork and pride you bring to our projects every day. Your efforts continue to strengthen our reputation and position us for success in 2026 and beyond.

Thanks again for your hard work, and I look forward to what we will achieve together over the coming months.

Brett
