As we welcome a new financial year, it’s the perfect moment to reflect on our great achievements of the past 12 months. Our teams have worked tirelessly, from tendering efforts to project delivery, and the solid pipeline ahead is a testament to that.
We’re heading into the crucial final phase at CD3 with the major shutdown works having recently commenced. It’s been fantastic to see the tremendous amount of work and planning by the team come to fruition, and to also finally see the Rubino, acquired specifically for this job, start to play a role on site.
Mondium has continued to show strong growth and execution at the CLAHDO project, an encouraging sign as expanding capability and delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects is key a key strategy for Monadelphous in coming years.
It’s been a busy time right across our sites, and I want to acknowledge the consistent focus on safety. There’s nothing more important than ensuring we all go home safely, and that starts with each of us committing to The Safe Way is the Only Way in everything we do. Supporting our safety goals, it’s great to see the completion of driver fatigue and distraction monitoring systems, as well as telehandler pedestrian alarms being installed across our fleet. We have already seen instances on our projects where this latest technology has helped to avoid potentially fatal incidents.
Over at Inteforge, we’re progressing well on the Rare Earths Refinery project, with Inteforge playing a vital role in the supply and fabrication of structural steelwork and pipe racks from our team in Vietnam.
Establishing our new Inteforge facility in Vietnam has allowed us to contribute to customer projects with enhanced flexibility and long-term value. The Prominent Hill project in South Australia was the first major integrated project fabricated out of Vietnam, and the tripper fabrication recently arrived in Australia. It’s a brilliant example of vertical integration between Melchor, EC Projects, and Inteforge.
The team at Inteforge continues to grow from strength to strength, delivering high-impact results across global operations. We’ll hear more from the team on the recent high-volume skid manufacturing contract and key milestones that are making a major impact on the business unit in the coming weeks.
I recently visited the CLAHDO team on site and had the pleasure of presenting them with the EC Teamwork Baton in recognition of their collaboration across multiple business units in handling a complex challenge. Their approach helped minimise project impacts – a true example of what we can accomplish together.
We closed out the 2024/25 financial year in a solid position and are entering this financial year with even greater strength. This reflects the consistent effort across the whole team, so great job everyone and thank you.
I’m excited to see what we’ll achieve together. Keep pushing forward, keep supporting one another, and most importantly, stay safe.
Until next time,
Russ
