Leadership Updates EC
1 Minute Read

Welcome to your first newsletter for 2025. With the not-so-new year well underway, we already have lots of great achievements across our teams to reflect on and celebrate.

It is also an ideal time for us all to reset and refocus on safety for the year ahead, particularly as we continue to face the summer heat and the impact dehydration can have. Please remember, wherever you are working, to always keep hydrated, and to keep both yourself and your teammates safe.

In January, I had the opportunity to visit the Inteforge team in their new office in Tongzhou Sub-centre in Beijing, marking an exciting new era. Last month, our Inteforge teams also held Lunar New Year celebrations, bringing our colleagues and families together in Vietnam for team building, and hosting our annual Lunar New Year party in China. I was proud to present awards during the event in Beijing to recognise some of our teammates’ recent efforts and contributions.

Across our sites, our teams have been delivering excellent work and receiving positive feedback from our customers in recent months, which has been really pleasing to see.

In Newman, our team on Orebody32 has been making great progress for our customer, completing earthworks and commencing pipework installation in January.

Over at Car Dumper 3 in Port Hedland, Melchor and EC Projects worked together as an integrated team to achieve a major milestone, completing the substation slab pour. Our team’s efforts so far has led to positive customer feedback, a reflection of our commitment to delivering safely and on schedule.

I also want to recognise the excellent work our EC tendering team has been doing, including over the Christmas break. The team has delivered a significant value of tenders for our business alone, representing a huge effort by everyone involved. Our tendering team is instrumental in securing a strong pipeline of work and supporting our success as a business.

Finally, across Monadelphous we have been rolling out our Respect In Every Step campaign, reinforcing the high standards of behaviour we expect of ourselves and our teammates. In the coming months you will be hearing more on this topic, and I encourage you all to get involved. It is important to me personally that we all play our part in ensuring we foster a respectful and welcoming culture at all times – one in which everyone can contribute and thrive.

Thank you all for you continued efforts. I am looking forward to seeing what we achieve together in 2025.

Russ
