Leadership Updates
1 Minute Read

Welcome to the first edition of The Fix for 2025! I hope everyone had a chance to relax and recharge over the festive season. For those who worked through, thank you for your commitment – it is greatly appreciated.

The year is off to a flying start, so let's ensure we continue to take the time to reset and remain focused on safety. As always, ensuring everyone returns home safely each day is our top priority.

Towards the end of last year, we held our annual ‘Business Update’ where I shared some of the highlights of 2024, as well as a forward look into 2025. As part of this, I was delighted to present the MMNW ‘Employee of the Year’ award to Senior Superintendent Seamus for his positivity in embracing change and his exceptional ability to rise to challenges.

In this edition, we catch up with Project Lead Kish for an update on the progress of the Pilot Plant project. Our customer is continually looks for ways to expand and streamline production of its mine operation, and by constructing a smaller sized plant first, they’re able to test and validate performance before committing to the construction of a full-sized plant. This project is a great example of our ability to provide full turnkey services to our customers with Monadelphous completing all of the civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works.

In a Monadelphous first, the M&IS division has launched a podcast. We were keen to explore a different avenue for sharing updates within the division that helps to keep us connected. You can listen to the podcast anytime, anywhere on SoundCloud.

Finally, I’d like to congratulate Zach Fry who celebrated his 10th Mono-versary in November last year. Zach has been on our Karratha Projects team for a decade, always pushing the envelope on innovation and making things better every step of the way. He’s passionate about expanding our marine capabilities— as well as trying to convince our Managing Director to splash out on a 250T jack-up barge. Hopefully we'll see that dream come true before another 10 years has passed, Zach!

Thank you all for a great start to the year, I look forward to seeing what we achieve together in 2025.
