Adrian joins the 20-year club

Adrian Daley is one of the most recent members to join Monos' prestigious 20-year anniversary club.  

Having started his journey at the Sleat Road office in September 2004 as a Credit Administrator, Adrian has worn many hats over the years, eventually taking on the role of Commercial Manager for MMNW. 

"When I first joined Monos, I didn’t really know what my career would look like, or much about the company, to be honest," he said. 

Twenty-years later Adrian's career trajectory is a great example of his determination and growth. From his early days as an accounts receivable supervisor to becoming a transactional accountant, he eventually made his way to business services as a commercial analyst. His persistence and dedication opened doors, leading to roles like senior management accountant, commercial manager, and now, his current position. 

“After a few years at Monos I applied for a promotion position as was told they were after someone with tertiary qualifications, which inspired me to spend the next 10 years studying part time to complete Bachelor of Commerce & CPA,” Adrian said. 

"My career then progressed, and new opportunities opened up once I committed to studying."  

When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Adrian doesn’t hesitate.  

“It might sound cliché, but it’s definitely the people. I’ve been fortunate to work with managers who have been with the company a long time and have always supported me,” he said.  

“Their leadership and commitment to Monos’ values have been inspiring.” 

Originally from Hobart, Adrian moved to Perth at 19 to pursue his passion for sport, a love that still plays a significant role in his life today.  

Now married with two daughters, much of his free time is spent at the sidelines of sports fields, cheering his daughters on or coaching their teams.  

And when he gets a moment to unwind?  

"I enjoy playing a round of golf or cooking meats ‘low and slow,’" Adrian said.
