Let's give a big round of applause to our amazing teammates who've truly embodied the spirit of Monos’ culture.

Congratulations to our July Monos' Moments Champions – Kane Dawson and Riley Newton!

Kane Dawson – Teamwork

Kane, from RTW, truly stepped up when both leading hands were unavailable. Although he only recently completed his apprenticeship about 7-8 months ago, Kane voluntarily ran the workshop pre-start meeting. He managed the workshop with excellence throughout the day. His initiative and teamwork were outstanding.

Riley Newton – Teamwork

At short notice, Riley was called on to assist the Fleet Service team at Forrestfield due to unforeseen staffing issues. Within just half an hour, Riley packed up his things at the Perth office and arrived on-site, much to the relief of the team. His quick response and dedication to helping others were greatly appreciated.

A big well done to our other July Monos Moment winners, who will each receive a $50 voucher:

Eden Charles & Anastasia Burles – Safety

Eden and Anastasia, from RTW on the Worsley site, played pivotal roles in successfully completing the Caustic Heave project, which spanned over two years and 54,000 hours without a single Lost Time Injury (LTI). Their meticulous planning and execution ensured the project stayed on schedule and maintained the highest safety standards.

Jamie Miteff – Teamwork

Jamie, from Roxby Downs, has been a cornerstone of the branch, leading the electrical department through a busy period while maintaining strong relationships and fostering a supportive team culture both on and off-site. His dedication to teamwork and building a positive environment is highly valued.

Brad White – Achievement

Brad, from the Bunbury Workshop, recognised the potential in a young apprentice who was made redundant and went above and beyond to secure him a position at Monadelphous. His efforts in mentoring and supporting new talent have significantly impacted both the individual and the team.

Shannen King – Integrity, Achievement, Teamwork & Loyalty

Shannen has been incredibly helpful to the Bunbury workshop team, consistently going above and beyond to support everyone, working long hours to ensure successful outcomes. Her unwavering dedication to teamwork, integrity, achievement, and loyalty is deeply appreciated.

Travis Axell – Safety & Wellbeing

Travis, from Kalgoorlie, demonstrated safety leadership by refusing to compromise on safety standards while conducting 3D scanning at a new client’s mine site. Even in the face of client pressure, his commitment to procedures sets an excellent example of Monadelphous values.

Ross Sinclair – Teamwork & Cooperation

Ross, from KMK Cogen Kwinana, noticed some contractors were nervous and unsure during a pre-start briefing. He took the time to engage with them directly, addressing their concerns and setting a positive tone for safety at the site. His actions reassured the contractors and enhanced overall safety engagement on-site.
