You can jump online to watch Candice and Bec’s chat here.   This year, the Kalgoorlie and Bunbury teams took part in the campaign, focusing their efforts along Anzac Drive and Jetty Baths.  The Kalgoorlie team, led by HSE Officer Farnush Ahmari, of around 13 dedicated individuals, spent an hour collecting rubbish along a 300-meter stretch – a spot they have regularly cleaned up over the last few years.  Despite the high levels of litter in the area, the team noticed a positive trend: less rubbish than in previous years and more community involvement.  The team’s efforts filled two utes with everything from toothbrushes and old cans to carpets, shoes, and tyres.   The sunny weather made the rewarding experience even better, and the team left feeling proud of their contribution to keeping the community clean.  Bunbury also joined in for their first clean-up event.
