Onward and upward

It’s always great to see people grow in their careers, and this month we’re celebrating three well-earned promotions across Monadelphous. 

Congratulations to Mitch Cavanagh, who has been promoted to Project Manager. 
Mitch began his journey with Monadelphous in 2019 through the Graduate Program at Port Hedland.  

From the start, he stood out for his strong work ethic, teamwork, and sharp attention to detail. Over the past five years at Olympic Dam, he’s played a key role in delivering complex projects and supporting both our teams and customers. Now, as Project Manager, Mitch will be leading project teams and building on the great work he’s already achieved. 

We’re also excited to announce promotions for Michael Sewell and Ronak Das, who have both stepped into Senior Project Engineer roles. 

Michael joined in 2019 through the Graduate Program, kicking off his career at Tropicana before moving to the Olympic Dam Underground team. Over the years, he’s taken on a range of challenging projects, most recently contributing to the Olympic Dam Ancillary Program where his leadership and technical expertise have stood out. 

Ronak joined the business in 2023, starting out at the Tanami site in the Northern Territory, one of our more remote and demanding locations. Despite the tough conditions, he quickly proved himself to be calm under pressure and a dependable part of the team. Since joining the Goldfields team, he’s continued to make a big impact across multiple projects. 

These promotions are a great reflection of the dedication, skill, and positive attitude each of them brings to their work every day. Congratulations to Mitch, Michael, and Ronak on these well-deserved achievements, we can’t wait to see what’s next for you all.
