Sore arms but full hearts

Arms were shaking, legs were burning, but determination was sky-high.

Across June, 79 people across Monadelphous gave it everything they had as part of The Push-Up Challenge.

Spread across 11 teams, they spent 23 days repping it out for a good cause. They clocked up a massive 128,118 reps to raise funds and awareness for mental health.

The challenge asked each person to complete 3,214 reps. But it wasn't a random number; it represented the Australians who lost their lives to suicide last year. Every movement was a reminder and a push towards change.

While some stuck with classic push-ups, others mixed it up with things like stair climbs. It was sweaty, it was sore, and it was seriously impressive.

Altogether, the teams raised more than $8,300 for mental health services. That support will help people get the care they need when they need it most.

There were some tremendous efforts worth a big shoutout. Mono Motion (NSW) topped the charts with over 21,600 push-ups. Simon Brock, Ameliah Stimson and Darren Homann each raised $1,000! And, our highest fundraising team, the Push Pirates, brought in $3,480.

Special mention goes to the brilliant team name game, with gems like Knees Cracked Arms Unsteady and Just Push It!.

A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone involved. Together, we flexed more than muscle, we strengthened our community.
