Hello everyone,
It’s been another big month across Monos’, and I want to start by saying a heartfelt thank you for all your hard work and commitment.
This month, I’d like to put the spotlight on something close to all of us, safety and looking out for one another, especially when things get tough. Our Monos’ Moments winner for May, Luke Gamma, brought this message home in a powerful and personal way. Luke’s “Please Come Home, Daddy” initiative is changing the way we traditionally think about mine site safety, not just as a set of rules, but as something deeply human.
By sharing messages from the children of our team, simple, honest words like “Please come home, Mummy, I need you” Luke has reminded us that safety is not just about getting through the day. It’s about going home to the people who love us. His idea is already sparking broader interest, and it’s easy to see why. It's powerful, it's real, and it shows the difference we can make when we care for each other.
I also had the pleasure of spending time in Roxby and Kalgoorlie this past month, where we celebrated some great milestones with the teams on the ground. A big congratulations to Tim Bourn and Brenton Tillbrook in Roxby, and thanks to everyone who joined us for the Kalgoorlie BBQ, it was great to see the team spirit in full swing.
In this month’s edition of The Pipeline, we’re celebrating Mark Holdman’s 20 years with Monos’, recognising KMK’s well-earned teamwork baton win, spotlighting a screen replacement project in the Goldfields, and highlighting how we’re helping support local families in the southwest through our Community Grants Program.
And if you’ve got time on the commute or during smoko, give the latest episode of the M&IS podcast a listen.
Thank you again for all that you do. Let’s keep up the momentum, and as always, take care of yourselves and each other.
Cheers,
