Leadership Updates EC
1 Minute Read

It’s been a little while since my last update, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the great work happening across the business.

We recently received recognition as a finalist in the 2025 Rio Tinto Supplier of the Year Awards, nominated as a finalist in the Health and Safety category.

We are immensely proud of our longstanding partnership with Rio Tinto and the strong foundation of trust and collaboration we have built together over three decades. Together, we have continuously worked towards achieving safer and better outcomes for everyone involved. This nomination is a reflection of the value we place on our relationship with Rio Tinto and our shared dedication to keeping our people safe at work.

The outstanding work during the Paraburdoo shutdown on the Western Range Project demonstrated not only our technical capabilities but also our commitment to safety, excellence and the incredible efforts of our team.

I want to thank each of you for your hard work and commitment. You can read more about the nomination here: EC shines in Rio Tinto Supplier of the Year Awards.

We remain incredibly busy on the project front.

Western Range achieved first ore in March and we still have a team supporting our customer on various scopes of work, including punch listing works to close the Project out.

The CGP3 project at Greenbushes achieved handover of the Dry Plant earlier this year and progressive handover of the Wet Plant is underway. There has been a big focus on Safety on the Project and the team have shown true resilience in their efforts in this area.

The Pluto 1 project is steadily ramping up, achieving a significant milestone recently with the first major module installation of the Metering skid.

The PHOX project at Prominent Hill is nearing completion of the Civil works at the Winder Building. The overland conveyor is underway with the final shipment of steelwork for the project due this Month.

Our tendering team remains very busy and we hope to announce more contract wins through the year. There’s plenty to look forward to!

As always safety remains our key focus. We are seeing incidents occurring across our sites with common themes of risks and hazards not being identified and included in risk assessments and people not taking the time to assess the job and ensure the setup is right. Take the time and care to plan and execute the work safely. The safe way is the only way.

I look forward to providing further updates in the coming months on our achievements.
