In December, we awarded several very worthy Monos Moments to our Energy team members who were peer-nominated for going the extra mile and demonstrating our core values.
Firstly, to Daniel Jones for truly embodying safety and wellbeing. Daniel takes his role as a HSE representative very seriously, continually checking in with his workmate's mental health and is always searching for improvements to safety on the work front.
Cyndy Vo was nominated and awarded for stepping up and supporting the team during their busiest time when they were down a critical team member. Cyndy took on extra capacity to work with very little handover and did a fantastic job.
Ben Mills (Millsy) has shown incredible perseverance when assisted in carrying out 1Y PM on MLAs, which heavily involves rope access. MLA maintenance is complete because it is a cross-discipline project, so Millsy has been reporting to multiple people about the gaps he found within the project and has gone above and beyond in his role.
Julia Wallis was awarded for her exceptional dedication and leadership within the KGP admin team. Over the past few months, she has gone beyond her regular tasks, providing vital support and taking the initiative to lead and assist with coverage and training. Julia's commitment during the 2023 shutdowns and her consistent demonstration of Monos values in knowledge sharing has been highly appreciated.
Paige Lang was crucial in developing a new starter SharePoint onboarding page, showcased at the leadership conference. Despite having her regular responsibilities in a different business within Monadelphous, Paige consistently went above and beyond to assist and was pivotal in creating a well-received SharePoint page supporting the onboarding process for new starters during the 2024 INPEX major shutdown.
Gareth Grant was recognised for his outstanding efforts in creating Power BI reports that significantly aid the turnaround team post-SAP4H implementation. These reports facilitate easy cross-referencing of old work orders with new ones, enabling the team to locate their work buckets and progress status efficiently. Additionally, Gareth's unique report ensures our team can maintain exceptional service during Woodside's transition to a new SAP, showcasing his commitment and valuable contributions.
Ali Jamani is acknowledged with the Monos Moment award for his substantial assistance with timesheeting and queries. Ali's quick responses and strong teamwork have been crucial in supporting the Perth team during the transition onto the INPEX onshore project.
Kish Jegnathan was nominated for his prompt and well considered responses to queries about two separate work orders. His efficient handling of these queries ensured timely resolution, preventing the work orders from lingering over the weekend.
Congratulations to all for the well-earned Monos Moment and for your ongoing commitment.
Nominate a mate
If you see a Monos Moment, you can take two minutes to put them forward. Whether it is big, small, at work or beyond, the only criteria for nomination is that there is a clear link to one or more of the Monadelphous values:
Safety and Wellbeing Integrity Achievement Teamwork Loyalty
The program runs continuously so you can nominate a person (or team) anytime who you believe should be recognised for their contribution. Two minutes of your time can mean a lot to someone else!
